Moonstruck Intoxication is a stirring musical theater piece full of madness and tragedy. In this triptych a tragic clown and an abandoned bride with her twenty year old  rotting wedding cake,  swing the audience back and forth between harsh reality and a surreal dream world. The psychological instability finds its resonance in an abstract stage design which is deprived of all the forms of physical stability.

A round gaping hole shines on stage, like the hearts  of both women, filled with sorrow.  An open wound that won’t be bridged.
